This edition also introduces a basalt layup not found on the standard Tesseract II, delivering a uniquely damp yet stiff ride ideal for gravity-fed pursuits.

BASALT FIBER COMPOSITE DESIGN

Built with six plies of maple, triaxial fiberglass, and a volcanic basalt bottom layer, the SnubNose delivers stiffness ideal for controlled downhill and freeride. Basalt offers a strength-to-weight ratio close to carbon fiber and is stiffer and stronger than fiberglass, providing reinforced stability with a smoother, more naturally damped ride than full carbon.
