The Lizzie Low, a lower version of Lizzie Armanto's signature skate shoe, is as unique as Lizzie herself with a unique solution to the universal problems of skate shoes: a better-fitting, more sustainable solution for all skateboarders. Lizzie and Vans are very proud to deliver something completely different for a new generation of skateboarders, made with thoughtful materials and inclusivity in mind. Our team has set ambitious sustainability goals. Every effort, big or small, contributes to a positive change. To earn the VR3 Checkerboard Globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be made from recycled, renewable and/or regenerative materials.
Features:
Sustainable and Conscious Materials: The all-new upper (including the quarter panel, tongue, and lining) is made from 100% organic cotton and suede. Vans leather products support responsible manufacturing through the Leather Working Group.
Universal Fit: This all-new performance fit is designed by Lizzie to meet the needs of a wider range of skateboarders. The stretch tongue gussets provide a locked-in fit and tongue stabilization.
Boardfeel and Impact Protection: The Lizzie is made with VR3Cush foam, a PU foam (Fates) that is 70% bio-based, partially derived from plants according to the ASTM D6866-16 standard. The shoe has a new, lower profile drop-in sockliner that provides the boardfeel and impact protection you need.
Legendary Grip: The all-new outsole design features flex grooves in the forefoot, zonal waffle treads for durability and support, plus SickStick rubber (a compound made from at least 55% natural rubber from trees that are responsibly sourced from forests that are committed to long-term sustainability) with a micro-waffle pattern to give you the grip you expect from Vans with a broken-in feel right out of the box.
Durability: DURACAP reinforcements in high-wear areas and a thicker 3D-molded DURACAP toe cap add extra durability.
