ZG Skate System Vector M5 Helmet
This is a serious downhill helmet for people who take going down hills…well…seriously. The next in our popular line of Vector helmets, the m-5 is the result of months of careful design and working directly with downhill skaters and street-lugers in the community to make sure this helmet is everything you wanted and more. It’s got a carbon-fiber reinforced shell, extra thick fiberglass patches on the most common impact zones, an expanded viewport, more EPS hard foam, and an ASTM safety certification.
•Certification ASTM F1492 Certification
This was our number one priority for the helmet. There are way too many helmets out there without adequate certifications (paragliding, etc.) being worn in skating and luge. We wanted to make sure that this helmet was as safe as possible but without turning it into a bulky brain bucket.
•Carbon-fiber reinforced shell Fiberglass with a top layer of carbon fiber for superior strength and sleek look
4 extra thick fiberglass patches placed on key impact zones (front, back, sides) for even more protection
•Extra-plush pads & lining Removable inner liner for easy cleaning
Snap-in cheek pads with silky-smooth fabric to prevent irritation
•Expanded visibility Designed to be ideal for aerodynamic tucking in downhill skateboarding and street luge
2cm of additional peripheral vision compared to Vector m-4 line
•Quick-release chin strap Grab the red tab and pull. Easy to use even with bulky gloves.
•Low-profile Aerodynamic Design
