The Almost Reflex Youth FP (First Push) is one of the most thoughtfully designed beginner boards on the market. While most "First Push" boards focus on size, this specific Soft Wheels edition addresses the biggest hurdle for new skaters: crusty pavement. By combining a scaled-down deck with gummy, high-traction wheels, Almost has created a setup that feels smooth and stable, even on rough driveways and bumpy sidewalks.

Product Highlights

7.0" Narrow Profile: Ideal for the smallest skaters (ages 58). The reduced width and length make the board much less "clunky" and easier to flip, turn, and carry.
Specialized Soft Wheels: Unlike standard hard wheels that can trip on pebbles, these soft-formula wheels absorb shock and roll over cracks with ease, providing a much safer and more forgiving ride for beginners.
First Push Turning Radius: Equipped with custom trucks featuring extra-soft bushings. This allows a lightweight child to actually steer the board by leaning, which is often impossible on standard adult setups.
7-Ply Birch & Stiff Glue: Built using a high-quality "First Push" construction that is lighter than traditional maple but keeps its shape and "pop" for a longer period.
Mellow Concave: The deck's curvature is flattened out slightly to give the rider a more stable, "foot-flat" surface, which helps significantly with developing balance and confidence.
Precision Bearings: Smooth-rolling, shielded bearings keep the wheels spinning longer, meaning less time spent pushing and more time spent practicing balance.
