All Original longboard trucks come loaded standard with our Black "Low" tension all around longboard spring. These springs are the best choice for the widest range of longboard riders, however, with more experience, riders may begin to look for a more forceful feedback from their longboard trucks.

There for Original have introduced two new longboard spring tensions. Each provides increased feedback to center and a higher tension arc allowing for more powerful transitions and more speed generation from turn.

Original Heavy Tension Spring Upgrade. These longboard springs are intended for riders who are heavier than average, or for experienced longboard skateboard riders who know the ropes and really power through their carves. Longboard skateboard Beginners are almost always better off sticking with the Black allaround longboard springs.

Riders who are looking for more stablity in their longboard trucks will see a marked increase with the heavier red or white longboard springs, however, Original longboard trucks are not meant for speed, so the skill level of the rider will always be the limiting factor in speed wobble when dealing with original longboard skateboards. That being said, with white springs and a drop deck, one rider recently got the Original S10 longboard trucks up to 67 mph.
