Rocket Rhino Asym Racetail 30" Longboard Deck

What many of you have been looking for is finally becoming a reality. After a lot of tinkering and testing, we are presenting the Rhino Racetail with an asymmetrical built-in torque block. Whether you ride goofy or regular, one side of the wedge at the back is angled to give you the best board feel. On the toe side it is perpendicular to the board to provide a flat surface for the foot during the tuck. On the heel side it is angled to perfectly match the foot position during a heel side slide. The angled wedge is available for the standard Rhino Racetail shape. But we wanted to go one step further and developed a completely asymmetrical shape. With a total width of 8.66" it is slightly wider than the 8.5" of the standard shape. The special thing, however, is that not both rails are the same distance from the center of the board. The board is 0.1" or 2mm wider on the toe side than on the heel side. This, together with the additional space at the back, provides more leverage for the back toes. The narrower heel side edge provides more edge feel for the front heel.
