The Baifo Cholas 70mm is the "daily driver" of the Baifo lineup. Named after the Canary Islands term for flip-flops (cholas), these wheels are designed for comfort, ease of use, and a relaxed, surfy feel. At 70mm with a soft 76a durometer, they are the quintessential cruiser and freeride hybridoffering enough grip for carving and commuting, but a smooth enough release for technical slides and sidewalk slashing.

Product Highlights

Versatile 70mm Diameter: The most popular size for all-around longboarding. It provides a quick acceleration rate and fits on most setups with minimal riser pads while still offering enough height to handle rough pavement.
Plush 76a Durometer: Baifo's softest standard formula. This "gummy" urethane provides maximum vibration dampening and "skin-on-road" grip, making it perfect for crusty streets and steep, carving-focused descents.
Stone-Ground Finish: Comes with a pre-broken-in surface, allowing for "sugary" and predictable slides immediately. You won't have to fight a sticky outer skin to get the board sideways.
Beveled / Rounded Lips: The edges are designed to "roll over" into a slide easily rather than digging in. This makes the Cholas extremely forgiving for beginners learning to slide and highly predictable for experts.
Centerset Core: The bearings are mounted exactly in the middle of the wheel, allowing you to flip them once they start to "cone." This doubles the life of your wheels and maintains a consistent feel throughout their lifespan.
Large Internal Hub: Despite the soft urethane, the large core keeps the wheel's shape stable, preventing the "mushy" feel often associated with soft wheels and ensuring a higher roll speed.
