The Loaded Racing gloves are for higher speeds, or more advanced riders who want more protection / durability. The leather on the gloves is thin and comfortable but will protect you in more serious crashes above 50km/h. It is suggested to use the thumb puck and to keep your fingers off the ground when you are sliding, but as you advance you can take the thumb puck off.
