The Brand

If you skate you are not like everyone else. Only about 0.001% of the people in this world can do what you do. What you do, is non conforming, and that is who Bustin is too. They do not mass produce boards, but strive to create custom boards with proper quality.

History

In the summer of 2001, Ryan Daugtride created his first set of prototype downhill boards. With each prototype he got better and better but still did not have a fitting name for the boards. The same afternoon, his cousin Mike took a nasty spill and ended up in the ER with a busted lip. With this, the name “Bustin” was born. The scar remains today, but so does the company who continues to create and provide skaters with quality boards.

Sustainability

Bustin is trying to make the world a better place by introducing young and old alike to using their boards to go to school, work or a loved one instead of using public transport. They also as of late have tried finding more sustainable materials in the board making processes so that when the tragic day comes that your Bustin board needs to go to the retirement home, that it does not create a bad mark on the planet.
